That brings an end to our today's coverage. Got to see a game that was won by the team batting first, as most of them have been won by the teams chasing. We'll be back with another clash tomorrow as London Spirit face the heat against Manchester Originals at Lord's. Do join us for the coverage of that game. For now, it's a goodbye from us!

Sam Billings, winning captain: At Cardiff it's about using the pitch. Narine bowled on a similar surface in the nets yesterday. It was about getting the required run rate as quickly as possible (while defending). Will cashed in towards the end, on a difficult pitch. We lost too many wickets in the first game, so you tend to struggle if that happens. It wasn't going to be easier to bat on, it was pretty dry. As a batting unit it was difficult against the cross-seamers. It's hard to generate pace on a pitch like that. Jason Roy has dominated attacks, it's just a matter of time. He will get us off to a positive start. We like pace on the ball as a batting unit. Will Jacks is a class performer and he has huge potential. We knock how destructive Jacks can be.

Jacks, Match Hero: We really enjoyed today, we needed to bounce back after that loss. We just had to take it deep, and take those singles, as much as possible. We were taking five balls a time. When the last 30 balls were left, we decided it was time to take on the bowlers. Any time you have wickets in hand, the fielding side feels the pressure. We have a four-day game against South Africa, so I will miss out the next Hundred game. Good opportunity to play against the red ball.

16:49 Local Time, 15:49 GMT, 21:19 IST: That's an impressive win for Oval Invincibles who have managed to defend the total quite comfortably. Most of the batters found it tough to score runs at a brisk pace on this tricky surface, but it was the knock by Will Jacks that proved to be the match-defining one. The ball wasn't coming on nicely, and the bowlers were spot on with their variations, especially Sunil Narine and Tom Curran. Narine bowled a beautiful spell as he claimed three wickets, and Tom Curran bowled an exceptional spell as he took two wickets and his economy was outstanding as well. Will be a tough call to select the Player of the Match between Jacks, Narine and Tom Curran. We shall find that out soon..

100 Sam Curran to Ryan Higgins, 1 run, Oval Invincibles win by 39 runs! As clinical as it can get and the players greet each other for the customary handshakes. Was a length ball by Sam Curran that was drilled to long-on by the batter. A top performance by the Invincibles!

99 Sam Curran to Ryan Higgins, 2 runs, too full around off, Ryan Higgins squeezes this to long-off and takes a couple of runs

98 Sam Curran to Zampa, 1 run, scoops this over the keeper's head does Zampa, but he will only get a single

97 Sam Curran to Ryan Higgins, 1 run, a slower yorker by Sam, dips in front of the batter who digs this out to long-on

96 Sam Curran to Zampa, 1 run, and Curran starts off the last set of the match with a yorker, squeezed through square leg by Zampa

Welsh Fire require 46 runs off 5 balls!

95 Tom Curran to Zampa, FOUR, tries to shuffle across in the crease, but Curran follows Zampa by bowling a slower delivery outside off. Nice improvisation by the batter who guides it down to third man for a boundary

94 Tom Curran to Ryan Higgins, 1 run, slapped down to long-off as the bowler goes short

93 Tom Curran to Zampa, 1 run, fraction short and Zampa has slapped it to long-on for a single

92 Tom Curran to Zampa, no run, a quick full toss around off, Zampa tries to play a drive through the off-side, but gets beaten again

91 Tom Curran to Zampa, no run, slower one outside off, Zampa is way to early to play this, beaten due to the lack of pace

Welsh Fire need 52 runs off the final 10 balls!

90 Milnes to Zampa, 1 run, another short ball and Zampa has mistimed his heave towards wide long-on for a single

89 Milnes to Zampa, 2 runs, slower one by Milnes and Zampa swings this towards long-on. Roy in the deep sprints to his right and gets his right hand to with a dive, but he fails to grab it. Would be harsh to call that a dropped chance!

88 Milnes to Zampa, FOUR, that was all about placement! Almost a yorker length ball on off and Zampa squeeze-drives this to beat the fielder at cover for his first boundary

87 Milnes to Zampa, no run, looks to play the scoop shot by shuffling across in the crease, but the bowler does well to beat the batter with a slower one
