Virat back among the runs is a relief for RCB, but there will be talk around the strikerate. Patidar played a brilliant knock in that partnership with Virat. But still not coming together as a unit and Faf and Co. will want to fix the holes early. Hardik's Gujarat will be very happy and they are almost assured of a play-offs spot. We shift focus to DY Patil now for the second game of the double-header as Mumbai look for their first points of the season and they are up against the Royals. See you there!

Rahul Tewatia | Player of the Match - I can't say that I stay cool during chases, but a lot of things will be going beneath, as to how to take it forward, which bowler to target and which areas to hit. I then try and follow the plans. In the death overs, you'd need to play some pre-planned shots, but I certainly look at the field and then look at the ball before hitting. So, if the ball is outside off, I will look to go over the off-side, if it's on the stumps, I play the leg-side shots. I have bettered my off-side game during this tournament, the bowlers had planned to keep fielders in the off-side, so I knew it I could hit the gaps, I could get the boundaries, I have opened up both sides of the ground now. You have to finish games, never mind the target. The pitches have been really good, you can chase even 60 runs off the final 5 overs. I have spent a lot of time with him (Miller), we were together at PBKS for a year, with RR for a couple of years, so we have a good bonding, we talk about finishing games even in the nets. I have the belief in myself that I can finish games as long as I stay in the middle.

Hardik Pandya | Winning captain - That's the beauty of this team, people coming in and showing what they can do in clutch situations is becoming quite a habit, something I don't mind happening. We always back them to do it, but they're defying odds time and again. Credit to their confidence level (on Miller, Tewatia and Rashid), the self-belief that they're having, making sure they can finish games. To be very honest, we don't play to what people say, at the end of the day, it's up to yourself to improve, that's what we want. I have had a lot of chats with Rahul (Tewatia), you can see that self-belief, if you can finish games like this, you need to be super cool. That makes you think that 7, 8 or even 9 can make you win. This win is dedicated to the people of Gujarat, as it's Gujarat Day tomorrow, thanks for all the love and wishes you've shown us. As I have played a lot in Maharashtra, happy Maharashtra day as well.

Faf Du Plessis | Losing captain - We were trying to get to 175-180, the foundation was good, but they did bowl well in the middle overs, but I thought we were 5-10 runs short of a total which I felt was very good. But we started well with the ball, but credit to the (GT) guys for being consistent right through the campaign, they have been so calm during their chases. Patidar played really well, it was great for him and the team. It was a good effort to come out and bat like that as a team, especially after what happened during the last two games, that confidence is what we'll take forward, but we conceded 2-3 easy boundaries on the short side, but it still needed some quality finishing from them. There is always pressure, especially when you've quality players in the middle. But as I said, it was a tricky target and there was a big square on one side and we had to keep the ball away from the short side. If I'm not wrong, the 4th last over, we kept feeding them onto the short side and that's what you'd have to stay away from, minimize the damage as much as possible. But with one big boundary, you can still do well if you bowl in the right areas. That was a huge step in the right direction (on Kohli scoring runs). Cricket is a massive game of confidence and it'll be huge. To get a solid fifty, it's big for him and for us, something that we can take forward. You will need someone in the top-4 to go out and make those 70s and 80s, scores around 30s and 40s will not help win matches

19:19 Local Time, 13:49 GMT, 19:19 IST: Glum faces in the RCB camp. Their third straight loss after a promising start to the tournaments. "Oh not again," will be the mindvoices of their loyal fans. But how good were Gujarat. Rashid before the game said the biggest plus of the side has been the way they have managed to finish close games. They were under serious pressure today as well with Hardik walking back for a cheap score. But Miller and Tewatia with their calm heads on ensured they didn't panic or let RCB back in. RCB did have the bowling to fight with 170 as the slower balls and the turners were gripping the pitch. But GT played a master stroke which made a huge difference. RCB had Shahbaz and Hasaranga who spin the ball away from the right-hander, so GT probably dropped Abhinav and played the left-handed Sai Sudharsan because the latter will find it easier to bat with the ball coming into him. The youngster played a decent hand steadying the ship, then Miller and Tewaita being lefties also put pressure on RCB's spinners. Harshal was effective, but he didn't get support as the rest leaked the runs. The fielding too wasn't sharp from RCB.

19.3Hazlewood to Rahul Tewatia, FOUR, lofted over extra-cover and it's only fitting that Rahul Tewatia finishes off this game. Full and outside off stump, Tewatia leans forward and lofts nicely to take his side home. Gujarat Titans continue to flex their muscles at the top of the table

19.2Hazlewood to Miller, 1 run, oh late on the shot trying to dab, the ball takes the bottom of the bat and rolls to backward point

19.1Hazlewood to Miller, FOUR, very full delivery, flicked away with his strong wrists, long-on is straight and Miller wants to seal the deal quickly

19.1 Hazlewood to Miller, wide, slower delivery way outside off stump

Just 7 needed now off the last over. But in some other breaking news, Ravindra Jadeja has handed over the CSK captaincy back to MS Dhoni.

             GT: 165-4 after 19 overs

18.6Harshal Patel to Rahul Tewatia, SIX, this is stunning from Tewatia. 13 needed off 7 before this ball. So anything over 11 runs in the final over is pressure on the batters. So Tewatia takes his calculator out and figures out it's okay to play a big shot and chance his arm for a boundary. Runs down the pitch and lofts the drive over mid-off as the fielders are in and gets a maximum in the end

18.5 Harshal Patel to Miller, 1 run, short slower delivery, Miller pulls to deep mid-wicket

18.4Harshal Patel to Rahul Tewatia, 1 run, Tewatia moves across and tries to sweep, toe-ends it to short fine leg. But Harshal Patel is appealing for LBW. And there's a review too, but the ball never touched the pad. Waste of time and review

DRS: Shocking review, never touched the pad. Straight off the bat

18.3 Harshal Patel to Miller, 1 run, short slower delivery angling across, Miller plays a controlled pull to mid-wicket

18.2 Harshal Patel to Rahul Tewatia, 1 run, slower delivery, Tewatia taps to deep point, just a run this time

18.1 Harshal Patel to Rahul Tewatia, 2 runs, oh man! Tewatia has just dropped this to backward point and stolen the second run. Opened the bat face to guide this slower delivery, called for two immediately. A better throw close to the stumps could have been tight but Tewatia escapes

             GT: 152-4 after 18 overs

17.6 Hazlewood to Miller, FOUR, pulled away. In the gap past deep mid-wicket and this is four more. 17 off that over, literally killing the game. This is such a calculated assault from GT. Lets play out Harshal safely and target the rest!

17.5 Hazlewood to Rahul Tewatia, 1 run, short of length delivery Tewatia moves across and pulls to deep mid-wicket
