The winners cheque and Trophy is being given to Hardik. All the Indian players are getting a winners' medal as well. Time for some photoshoot now as the visitors pose with the silverware. India weren't tested as a team that much but there have been a lot of positives for them looking forward to the World Cup. Selectors will have a good headache to have with such a large talent pool to pick from. As for West Indies, you can understand skipper Pooran's disappointment and we can only hope that they rise back in style. Nothing like an in-form Windies team in the shortest format. Hope you enjoyed our coverage of the game. Until next time, this is Hari Sadanandan signing off on behalf of Kumar Abhisekh Das and Vinod Kumar. Cheers!

Hardik Pandya | India skipper: It's very special feeling to get a chance to lead your country. Obviously on then winning the game means a lot to me. Captain Ro did everything well before this game, so I just ensured that we kept doing the good work. (On captaincy) Why not? If given a chance, I'll be more than happy to do it. But for now, we have a World Cup coming, it's about getting better as a team. The kind of talent the players we have and the freedom we're getting, this is the New India. I can see players playing with freedom and not worrying about failing. And when you do that, you tend to do special things. I wanted to give Axar the ball early because he is used to bowling in the powerplay, he is capable of holding his own and then with the wrist spinners, I knew we could get the wickets. It's about how we can get better from here. Preparation-wise we're ready for the World Cup but in this sport, you never stop learning. So it's about learning with each game.

Nicholas Pooran | West Indies captain: We were just not good enough. We didn't learn from our mistakes. We just weren't up to the challenge, just didn't put enough partnerships. To come up against tough teams, we need to be good in execution. Be it in the batting group or bowling group, we have a lot of catching up to do. I just hope that we as a team learn from these losses. We're building towards the World Cup and hopefully we can do that right. (On Holder opening the batting) Obviously King and Mayers didn't play today, so we needed someone to open. Just thought of giving him an opportunity to bat higher up. We all know what he can do down the order. It (playing two spinners) is something we have to think about in the future. India have shown why they are better than us in this series.

Arshdeep Singh | Player of the Series: Feels really good. As Rahul (Dravid) Sir says, we are a process-based team. We are just looking to do the process properly, not thinking too much about the results and that's what is helping me in my bowling. It's about being adaptable (as a bowler) and a lot of credit goes to the team management for giving me clarity. The way the youngsters are being backed is nice, the feel of the dressing room is really good. Helps as a youngster to come in and do whatever you do in your IPL teams/State teams.

Axar Patel | Gamechanger of the Match: I was just focussing on keeping things simple, instead of trying too many things. Was just looking to use the surface to my advantage. The surfaces (in this series) have been helpful for me, so that has proved advantageous to me. Both in the ODIs and T20s, the pitches were fairly same. I don't mind people calling me just an all-rounder, if I do well with the ball, I'll be a bowling all-rounder, if with the bat, then a batting all-rounder.

14:03 Local Time, 18:03 GMT, 23:33 IST: This series has been like one of those action films where everything just seems so mundane, so repetitive. West Indies were never in this chase to be frank. Yes, Hetmyer got on a roll briefly, hitting a flurry of sixes but none of the other batters seemed ready to put on a fight. Some of the dismissals were downright silly and amateurish. West Indies' eternal problem against spin came to the fore once again, and they clearly had no proper plan to counter India's spin trio. Axar set the ball rolling, Kuldeep followed it up and Bishnoi finished things off in a hurry. 188 was always an above-par score on this surface but wasn't impossible by any means. It's just that West Indies batted with zero clarity. Take the move to open with Holder for instance. That was one of the many eyebrow-raising moments that the hosts created today. Clearly, the coach and the think tank will have to have a proper talking down to do to the batters. On the other hand, another cruising win for India who have hardly been tested on this tour at all.

15.4 Ravi Bishnoi to Obed McCoy, out Caught by Hooda!! India complete the hammering to complete a 4-1 drubbing! Bishnoi claims his fourth to wrap things up. Slower googly, tempting the big shot and McCoy miscues it straight to long-on where Hooda does the rest. Obed McCoy c Hooda b Ravi Bishnoi 0(3)

15.1 Ravi Bishnoi to Hetmyer, out Caught by Shreyas Iyer!! Hetmyer's adventure is over! With just the tail with him, he has no choice but to swing at everything. Steps out to go downtown against the googly but got a bit too close to the pitch of the ball, thereby slicing it a bit. Straight down long-off's throat. Catching practice for Iyer. Career-best figures for Bishnoi now. Hetmyer c Shreyas Iyer b Ravi Bishnoi 56(35) [4s-5 6s-4]
