20:55 Local Time, 19:55 GMT, 01:25 IST: It's Surrey that come up trumps in this London derby with a clinical 73-run win. It was an oustanding performance despite them missing key players in Jason Roy, Chris Jordan and Reece Topley. It was the Curran brothers that set the show up with the bat, their partnership was instrumental in getting Surrey's total up and close to 200. But really, the star of the show was Will Jacks. First, he got his team off to a brilliant start with a quick 43 and came back to cause massive damage with the ball. While Middlesex did well to keep up with the asking rate, they kept getting rocked with wickets tumbling at regular intervals. Jacks, who returned figures of 3-17 from 3 overs, picked up 2 wickets in his first over to tilt the scales massiviely in Surrey's favour. After that, it was just one Middlesex batter after the other that went down swinging, trying to keep up with the rate but failing and that eventually resulted in the home side getting bowled out for 126. Superb win for Surrey as they get their T20 Blast campaign off to a flying start. Things should only get better for them once some of their other star players return to the fold. Right, that's it from us here at Cricbuzz. Take care and goodbye.
