DC have spoiled the party for Punjab. MI and RCB fans aren't complaining. They would rejoice more if DC can do the same to CSK in their last game. DC are out of the race but have already tripped one tonight. Punjab would need a lot of favourable results now. DC were shoddy on the field but the target was good enough in the end. Only Gujarat have confirmed their seat. Most of the others are still in the fray. The action in this last week of the league stages is only going to get intriguing. We will be there to calm your nerves. This is our team of Abhinand, Saurabh, Kumar and Vinod bidding you ta ta ta!

Rilee Rossouw, Player of the Match: Thanks to the support staff. Chuffed that I could perform for the team. As Davey mentioned was a good wicket. Davey put up a good partnership at the top. I enjoyed some momentum coming in. Just shows that this game is not over till the last ball is bowled. Exceptional innings from Liam.

David Warner: Pretty bad fielding performance. We backed our strengths. Playing on a nice wicket helped. Was pretty challenging at home. The impact Prithvi had was nice to see. Rilee Rossouw played well as well. We needed some consistency at our home venue. We haven't been able to work out a total at home. Great to get the points tonight.

Anrich Nortje: When we got here yesterday, during training and before the game it felt good to be back in a venue with some carry. This is one of the best grounds in the world. (On his plan for today) Trying to use the conditions, wanted to change it up especially on a wicket like this where there was extra bounce. Was just focusing on what I needed to deliver. Nowadays the guys set up for pace, so we need to vary it with pace off from time to time. (On what he can improve on) At the start, I’d like to be a bit more effective. Assessing conditions better, and try to commit to one thing on the days it is coming out well, and otherwise just vary the lengths. I must say Kuldeep was our best bowler today, we made it difficult for him by dropping those many.

Shikhar Dhawan: It was frustrating. We didn't bowl really well in the first six wickets, we should have taken some wickets the way it was swinging. It's quite a close game, but can't help it. There was hope after that no ball, Livi played a great knock, unfortunately we couldn't end up on the other side. I fell my decision to bowl spin off the last over backfired. The momentum also went there. Before that, my fast bowlers got hit for 18-20 runs. Those two overs cost us the game. Our bowlers didn't pitch the ball up in the powerplay. That was the plan and unfortunately they couldn't execute. In this sort of a wicket, whether we take wickets or not, we should bowl at the right areas which we are not doing for quite a long time. That's hurting us. Every powerplay, we have been giving 50-60 runs, we should be taking wickets as well. We knew that it'd swing for 1-2 overs. We lost the first wicket in the 2nd over, I got out and the 1st over was also a maiden - we lost six balls over there.

23:18 Local Time, 17:48 GMT, 23:18 IST: Phew what a game! The last four overs took everyone on a ride. Livingstone ensured the ride was full of thrills and chills. DC had almost thrown it away so much so that they could have lost this despite having 33 to defend in the last over. The first ball was a dot in the final over. But then a six and a four followed by a no-ball which was hit for a sixer. 16 was needed off the last three balls but Livingstone just couldn't connect on the free-hit ball which was a swirling full toss outside off. Earlier, Punjab leaked plenty of runs. They were set a mammoth target of 214. Punjab started off by giving away a maiden to Khaleel. Dhawan fell for a duck. And the start wasn't ideal. Taide and Livingstone got them back into the game but the rate was more than 17 per over going into the last five overs. The partnership brewed as DC continued to drop one chance after the other else DC could have closed the game much earlier. Taide was retired out in a tactical move. But Jitesh Sharma, Shahrukh Khan and Sam Curran couldn't muster much. That meant the run chase was solely on the shoulders of Livingstone. He tried hard but they fell short by 15 runs.

             PBKS: 198-8 after 20 overs

19.6 Ishant to Livingstone, out Caught by Axar!! And wicket to finish. Livingstone doesn't get a ton as well. Ishant started the downfall of Punjab with the wicket of Dhawan and ends with the scalp of Livingstone. DC have won this. They have played party spoilers to Punjab's chances. Was a length delivery, outside off, Livingstone slaps it straight to the man at long-off. DC win this 15 runs. Livingstone c Axar b Ishant 94(48) [4s-5 6s-9]

Ishant to Livingstone, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

19.5 Ishant to Livingstone, no run, and Ishant would be a relieved man after that last dot ball. He doesn't want to bowl a no-ball. He connects on a slog outside off and flays that down to deep cover

19.4Ishant to Livingstone, no ball, SIX, that's a no-ball! That's drama. Highish full toss, Livingstone slaps it over wide long-off for a sixer. Massive hit indeed. Managed to get enough wood on it. Warner and DC have a review. They don't opt for it. Or did they? There is massive confusion. They did eventually after Warner had an animated chat with the umpire. That was high enough and the third umpire deemed it as a no-ball. This game refuses to be a simple one
